Dr. Reza Radmand is the former faculty at UCLA School of Dentistry and the former Section Chief of the Dental Department at Yale New Haven Hospital.  Dr. Radmand is the current clinical instructor at Yale School of Medicine and a member of the medical staff at Bridgeport Hospital, in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Dr. Radmand is a current Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and Board Certified in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine.  He is also an Academic Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine and Associate Fellow of the American Head and Neck Society.

Our Stratford location has been awarded the prestigious Dental Sleep Medicine Facility Accreditation, by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, joining an elite group of centers around the nation recognized for proficiency, professionalism and procedural excellence regarding the treatment of patients with sleep apnea and sleep-disordered breathing.  One of only a few such facilities in the state of Connecticut.

As a Diplomate in the field of dental sleep medicine, Dr. Radmand has developed close collaborations with certified sleep facilities as well as community expert physicians, in the field of sleep medicine. As a standard service to his patients, Dr. Radmand performs screening examination for signs and symptoms of snoring and sleep apnea. Once a patient is diagnosed with sleep apnea, by their sleep physician, a prescribed treatment option may include the fabrication of an oral sleep appliance. A customized oral appliance is fabricated by performing measurements and making individualized molds of upper and lower jaws.

Dr. Radmand’s passion for advancing science and treatment innovation in the clinical setting has earned him respect and recognition among his medical colleagues. Hence, he is currently involved in several ongoing research projects in the fields of sleep medicine and oncology, in collaboration with the Yale School of Medicine.

As an avid inventor, holding several patents and patent pending concepts, Dr. Radmand is also the founder of two biomedical companies, involved in innovative medical and dental devices.
